Cause-Specific Donation Management

South East Asia Literacy and Education (SEALE) is a nonprofit providing high-quality education to refugee and displaced children across Southeast Asia. Using Donation for WooCommerce, they implemented a cause-specific donation system that allowed supporters to give directly to individual programs. Also, enabling one-time or recurring donations seamlessly within their existing WooCommerce setup.

SEALE Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering holistic education to at-risk and displaced youth across Southeast Asia. Their work spans four cause areas: early childhood literacy, girls’ education, refugee youth education, and teacher training. Each of these required its own dedicated funding stream and donor journey.

SEALE needed a donation system that could present four distinct causes individually and allow donors to contribute to a specific program rather than a general fund. They also needed a solution to handle both one-time and recurring donations, as well as some code-level customization to integrate seamlessly with their existing WooCommerce infrastructure.

SEALE integrated the Donation for WooCommerce Plugin directly into their store. The plugin enabled four cause-specific donation streams out of the box, one for each of SEALE’s programs. Along with the flexible one-time and recurring donation options, all within their existing setup. WPExperts supported SEALE at the code level to fine-tune the presentation of each cause, ensuring the experience aligned precisely with their workflows and program structure.

With Donation for WooCommerce, SEALE activated four structured donation channels, gave donors full flexibility in how and what they support, and improved the clarity of their program presentation. They strengthened donor engagement and made their store a core part of their fundraising mission.
